Source engine games on OSX Lion with Steam freeze and reboot MacBook5,1
Is there anybody who have the issues like freeze, reboot or kernel panic
while playing Source engine games with Steam on OSX Lion and Mountain
Lion? Usually after a gaming session from 10 minutes to 45 minutes it
caused randomly.
I already contacted Steam support but they always replied the reinstall
app/steam/os pre-wrote bullsh*t, they don't even read my details when i
told them i already do anything.
Please don't tell me to reinstall OS, because i had the problem with OSX
Lion on my old HDD, and have it now with OSX Mountain Lion with my new
SSD. I also have an active cooler stand with 3 fans and i can play games
like Borderlands 2 and others for hours without an issue.
I also have the issue when i just let HL2 in background in the main menu.
Please tell me if anybody have any idea's what can help, i am really stuck
with this about a year or more.
Affected games: Left 4 Dead 2, Half Life 2, Portal 2
