Taking a ride on Santas sleigh and playing with reindeer are yuletide dreams for children all over the world. In Hollys Best Friend, the new book from Kathy Davenport, Holly is a little girl with a big imagination and one very special best friend, St. Nick himself.

Davenport didnt have to look far to find inspiration. The character Holly is based off her daughter Melanie, and two high school seniors from the area illustrated the book.
